Acceptable use

Narratomi hosts private, link-shared stories. It is not a storefront and not a gallery: there is no discovery, no browsing, no player accounts. We are infrastructure, not a curator, so this list is short on purpose: it is what the law and our storage and payment providers’ terms force on us, and nothing beyond it.

Allowed

Legal adult content, including sexual and violent material, is allowed. Flag the project as mature in Project → Content and the share link asks visitors to confirm they are 18 or older before the story opens.

Prohibited

You may not create, upload, or share:

1. Child sexual abuse material, or any sexualised depiction of a minor, drawn or rendered included.
2. Non-consensual intimate depictions of real, identifiable people: sexual imagery or sexual content featuring a real person who has not consented, including “deepfake” likenesses.
3. Content that sexualises or depicts real, identifiable people in ways that would be unlawful where you or they are, including revenge porn.
4. Material that is illegal to distribute where it is hosted or served: incitement to violence, credible threats, terrorist content, human trafficking, or content facilitating serious crime.
5. Content you do not have the rights to, where we receive a valid takedown notice.

Break these and we remove the content and may close the account. We report what the law requires us to report. To report content that breaks this policy, email [email protected].

What we do not do

• No content scanning and no review queue. We do not look at your project unless someone reports it to us.
• No age verification. The mature interstitial is an honour-system notice: it asks, it does not check.
• No ratings taxonomy. One flag, on or off.

The share link is the access control

A published story is served to anyone holding its slug, with no sign-in. The mature interstitial is a courtesy notice in the player, not a lock on the data; the link itself is the secret. Treat a share link as public the moment you send it to someone.

AI co-writer

Hosted AI providers apply their own content policies, which are stricter than this page. If a provider refuses a request you are shown the provider’s own message, attributed to it. That refusal is the provider’s, not ours; pointing Narratomi at a more permissive or local provider is the escape hatch.
