Write it.
Branch it.
Stage it.

Narratomi is a browser studio for branching narrative games. Script on the left, live 3D stage on the right, choices in between. For writers, game-makers, and players.

scene: The Ghost Light

VeraEvery stage has a door nobody uses.

The same line staged in Narratomi's editor: Ana beside the ghost light on a dark theater stage
The Narratomi editor: the typed script line, and the same beat staged live in 3D.
the loop

One line becomes a scene becomes a fork.

The script pane: Vera's line and the choice that follows it
01 · write the line, plain prose with beats
The live 3D stage: Ana staged alone under the ghost light
02 · the stage stages it while you type
The running story: the choice card over the staged scene
03 · the choice appears, and the story forks

Rain just ended. A metal door under a single caged bulb.

The stage door is unlocked.

The door swings wide. An empty house, a single ghost light. Keep scrolling: the rest of the page plays out warm.

Some doors stay shut. (You can always come back.)

the shape of it

One story. Four endings. Zero spreadsheets.

Curtain's flow graph: an alley, a stage, four ways opening night can end. The path you just picked is the lit one. Narratomi draws this for every story and validates every route while you write.

the studio

Everything is this one screen.

The script editor with the slash menu open over a beat
The script editor. Type prose; /slash drops lines, choices, and stage directions.
The co-writer bar under the script, with a prompt typed in
A co-writer that reads your whole story. Runs on credits, included in Creator.

The flow graph. Every path drawn, every dead end flagged before a reader finds it.
the writers' room

You don't write it alone.

Two writers in the same scene: the co-writer's named caret inside the script, the presence roster above

Write together, live.

Invite co-writers by email. Same scene, every caret named and visible, every keystroke synced. Editors write, viewers read along, and nobody overwrites anybody.

How live editing works
The history panel: named checkpoints with restore, a main branch and an active alt-ending branch, and a merge button

Branch the story. Merge what works.

Try the alternate ending on its own branch while main stays safe. Name a checkpoint before the risky rewrite, restore it if the rewrite loses, and merge the draft back when it wins.

Checkpoints, branches, and restore
the agents desk

An AI staff writer with its own desk.

Hand it a mission and keep writing: the agent drafts on a branch of its own, never in your scene. When it's done you read its ledger change by change, rewind the parts that miss, and merge the draft. Or discard the whole thing and lose nothing.

Fair questions.

Is it really free?

Yes. The Free plan is $0 forever: write, stage in 3D, and publish playable stories. Paid plans lift limits, they never unlock the basics.

Do I need to know how to code?

No. You write prose; slash commands add choices, variables, and stage directions, and the compiler flags broken paths before your readers find them.

Do I own my story?

Yes. Your words, your characters, and your published games stay yours.

What are AI credits?

Credits meter what the AI co-writer actually does for you; Creator includes a monthly allowance and one-time top-ups never expire. Details are on the pricing page. See pricing →

Can I write with someone else?

Yes. Invite co-writers by email and edit the same scene live, with every caret visible. Editors write, viewers read along, and branches with checkpoints keep experiments off your main story until you merge them.

Can people play my story without an account?

Yes. Publishing gives you a link, and anyone with it can play in their browser without signing up.

Does it run in my browser?

Yes. Writing, staging, and playing all happen in a modern browser on desktop or phone. Nothing to install.

Every stage has a door.
